Here are some tessellating* fractal patterns that I made using The GIMP.**
Some of these tiles are semi-transparent, as noted, and look different in front of different background colors. It’s worth it to experiment with this property, if you know how.

* For those who don’t know, “tessellating” means that the pattern can be repeated, over a planar surface without gaps or overlapping. Like desktop wallpaper on a computer, or some web page backgrounds. (back to the top)
